Performance videos

Share links to videos of you playing each instrument you would like to teach. Each video should demonstrate that your skills surpass the level you want to teach for that instrument, and it should be what you view as your best performance. What you choose as your best performance is part of what we evaluate.

We need to see you playing or singing on camera. A recording with a still image, a slideshow, or a lyric video over the top does not show us that, and makes your application incomplete.

Please link to individual videos, not to your YouTube channel, website, or media page. An application that points us to a channel or a site instead of specific videos is incomplete and will not be reviewed.

Paste one link per box, then tell us which of your instruments that video features. If an instrument you selected is not yet covered, another box will appear. We require at least one video per instrument. You are welcome to add a second or third if showing a different style matters to how you would like to be evaluated.

Voice applicants: most of our voice students are casual learners interested in contemporary music, so a contemporary performance (non-classical, low vibrato) is required and goes in the first box below. If you are also a classical performer, feel free to add another video by clicking "Add another performance video" to show your range.

Music production applicants: music production is the one exception to the on-camera rule. An audio recording is acceptable for it, and a box will appear below for you to state your contribution to the recording.

Round two: if your application moves forward, we will ask you for two more videos: one of you discussing your teaching philosophy, and one of you demonstrating your teaching skills.
